Robyn Benincasa’s Introduction

Robyn Benincasa is a World Champion Adventure Racer, a San Diego City Firefighter, a New York Times Bestselling Author and even a CNN Hero–so she definitely knows a thing or two about building world class teams that succeed against the toughest of odds. She and her teammates have a resume a mile long with all of their accomplishments, and I could go on and on about her, but let’s introduce her the FUN way, and see her in action (video rolls, stay on stage, then….) LET’S WELCOME ROBYN

Robyn Benincasa’s Technical Requirements

Robyn requires the following equipment to be provided:

• Wireless Lavaliere Microphone hooked into the sound system
• LCD Projector
• Large Screen – as large as the room will allow
• Audio/Sound with Sound Patch to presenter’s laptop (embedded videos are played during keynote)

NO PRESENTATION SLIDES IN ADVANCE: Robyn is unable to provide her presentation in advance, due to the usage rights on the video embedded in her presentation. NOTE: it is not possible to run the slides from another machine.

AV CHECK: Jeff Akens, her technical operator, accompanies Robyn to each event (at Robyn’s expense); he runs her Keynote presentation from his MacAir (see below). Jeff is available for the AV check three (3) hours in advance of presentation time. He will plug his MacAir into the house system plus test the microphone levels and lighting.

NOTE: since Jeff handles the AV check, Robyn will come down 30 to 60 minutes before the presentation time to get mic’d up and meet with the person introducing her.

SLIDES AND VIDEO: Robyn’s presentation includes both images and video, all embedded into a Keynote deck that her operator runs from his MacAir.

HER TECHNICAL OPERATOR:
NOTE: Jeff brings two Macs (one for backup) that are “sterile”; they have never been connected to the Internet and have nothing on them other than her presentation.
Jeff brings ALL Mac adapters and a back up Mac for the presentation and videos (a VGA, HDMI and DVI dongles for his MacAir).
Jeff can be located at the back of the room or backstage. A direct sight line with Robyn is appreciated but he can be situated backstage if necessary.
NOTE: There are no additional costs to the customer for Robyn’s operator.
****NOTE: A PRE-EVENT CALL with the event producer and/or AV team is required.
